Kids Helping Kids is a social skills camp offered for 3 weeks during the month of August, 2018 in Parsippany which is conveniently located off of Routes 80, 287, 280 and 46 in the heart of Morris County.

This half day social skills camp is a data-based program designed to provide behavior modification support and important academic and skills acquisition in a fun and nurturing environment.

Camp activities: 

• Peer tutoring to teach academic skills such as reading and math
• Social skills training with typical peers and models
• Exercise and physical activity
• A weekly STEM project that will incorporate the weekly theme and the skills obtained for the week.
• Data will be collected on the skills and analyzed to maximize the learning and to pinpoint the target skills to focus on. 

Camp staff : 

• Two Board Certified Behavior Analysts, BCBA’s
• Certified Special Ed teachers
• Peer models

Dates and Times:

Camp run Mondays through Thursday each week.

Week 1:   August 6th, 1pm - 4:30pm

Week 2:  August 13th, 8:30am - 12pm

Week 3:  August 20th, 1pm - 4:30pm

Ages:

This camp is designed for elementary school age children. Children who are or would be entering Kindergarten in Sept 2018 to entering 5th grade Sept 2018.

Registration will open January 1st, 2019.

Space is limited to 15 campers per week.

The admission process includes a formal intake process with the following required:

1. Behavior questionnaire
2. Social skills assessment
3. History form
4. 15 minute phone call 

Fees: 

$425 for Week 1, $395 per week for additional weeks.
